The Category I Grant H. Flint International Scholarship ($5,000) is awarded by SWANA to applicants who will be graduating from high school and attending their first year of college. SWANA requires SAT/ACT/Achievement Test Scores and a letter of acceptance to an accredited institution for this application, which will be evaluated by Sierra Chapter and provided to SWANA during the nomination process. SAT/ACT/ Achievement Test Scores and a letter of acceptance to an accredited institution must be submitted per requirements set forth by SWANA International in the application forms attached.

Scholarship applications for 2024 are due to the Sierra Chapter Scholarship Committee Chair (Dawyne Balch at Dawyneb@cityofclovis.com) by May 1. Sierra Chapter will review all applications and may nominate one applicant for a SWANA International Scholarship. Applications are due to SWANA by June 3. The application for this scholarship must be submitted on SWANA’s application form. SWANA’s awards will be announced during summer.
