SWANA Central California Sierra Chapter
The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is a leader in the solid waste industry across the nation. Members of the Sierra Chapter collaborate to address unique and challenging regulatory and environmental issues within California. We provide opportunities for private and public members to form effective partnerships resulting in creative solutions. Our Board of Directors leads the chapter, directing the work of several committees. Members are provided opportunities for education and training, including certifications in specialized fields within solid waste and scholarships to students who will become citizens, consumers, and hopefully the next generation of problem-solvers within our industry.
